Meet Bruno, a handsome young Dutch Shepherd mix. He arrived in our rescue from a high-kill shelter in Eastern Washington, and the shelter director was worried that, because of his youth and high energy, he would not do well in his shelter.
He was right. Bruno is still a pup – an energetic, playful, athletic puppy. He has not had any obedience training, but he’s a very smart boy, anxious to please, and all he needs is someone to take the time teach him manners. Dutch shepherds are members of the Herding Group, and Bruno needs a job to do.
He has energy to spare, and will need a large fenced yard, and exercise daily. He gets along with everyone, and everything, he meets, even farm animals. He meets new dogs easily, loves kids and cats.
For a large dog, he surprisingly doesn’t have a prey drive, which makes him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household.
Bruno would make an excellent jogging partner or hiking/camping companion. He has a soft brindle coat and those big shepherd ears! Bruno is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to relocate.
